A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MAYAN HISTORY
The Mayans were masters at harnessing energy, and had an amazing ability to control their environment by engineering their civilization to peak performance. They demonstrated attributes that appeared to be supernatural. Their secret wisdom is still unknown, some attributing it to extraterrestrial races whose space ships are seen to this day through out Central and South America.
Mayan rulers created sky high pyramids among many cities. They built lavish palaces personifying the power of the great Kings and their connection to the Gods. They also constructed astronomical observatories which helped them design their Calendars and plan their lives.
With the help of sophisticated satellite imagery, and photography, many cities, temples and settlements are still being discovered. The Mayan land has a certain allure, that draws more and more people there each year. There’s a mystique that perhaps directs us to a planetary grid that awakens our consciousness with curiosity and wonder.
The Mayans mastered a complex writing system, and an astounding comprehension of astronomy. They made significant discoveries in science including the use of the number zero in mathematics. The Mayan Calendar begins around 3114 BC, before their culture even existed, and they used it to predict the future and astrological events. It is said that they also had the ability to measure time.
They built numerous elaborate palaces, ceremonial architecture, pyramids, temples and observatories, all without using any kind of metal tools. No one is certain just how they accomplished these things. They also built sizable underground reservoirs for the storage of rain water. Their writing ability was far advanced, and they were able to write, expressing everything in ones thought process as no one else could in those times.
Between Honduras and the Yucatan Peninsula, there are rain forests with thousands of Mayan sites that still remained untouched, with archeological treasures yet to be found!
THE BEST PLACE TO BE FOR 12-21-12 !!
There are many ideas circulating about where the best place to be is, when it all goes down...if it all goes down. But do we know if it will all happen in a single hour, in a single minute, or day? Has it already begun?
Scientists and Astronomers alike have a wide variety of theories and ideas about just where they want to be, and when to go there. Apparently the most serious of believers have hidden the whereabouts of their secret place of protection for fear of becoming overpopulated, choosing only a handful of those closest to them- family, friends, colleagues, Doctors, and who ever else they feel would be of value to them for every purpose imaginable.
And really... who could blame them! If everyone on the face of the planet knew where the perfect designated spot to retreat in safety were located, indeed it would not be safe at all. There are however, some rumors...
What would you pack? Who would you trust? The truly amazing thing is how the things you own today suddenly take on a new sense of value. For example, that old chest of drawers that's been in your family for decades that was passed down to you from your Grandma who died last year....Nope. It stays. And what if you could only take what you could fit into a small vehicle?
Well the truth is that the list of "What ifs" suddenly have your head spinning when you consider the possibilities!
This brings me to my infamous "Bucket List". Everyone has one, in fact all you have to do is think about it for just a minute, and suddenly images of dreams that passed you by start racing through your head! So be sure to check out the "Bucket List" above on the menu.
